Just like our marquees, the Sun goes up and comes down. Of course, like the world around us, these times are constantly changing. Before I get a tad too prophetic here, the reasoning behind this blog post, is that we believe it is important to consider these times when planning your event. As mentioned previously, we are not just a marquee hire company, we are here to help you at every stage from planning, all the way to taking your marquee away, and, as part of that we believe it’s important that we help you have the best Wedding, Party, Conference or function you can.
Why are sunrise and sunset times important?
Surely if your planning an event, then these should have little bearing? However, how are your guests going to get to and from the marquee? to their cars? to the loos? How will ambient light effect presentations, will I need black out facility? (if there is a corporate presentation or similar). Will I require additional or outside lighting?
In addition if your at a venue, or as we come across often in central local locations (such as an event we did for a French Food Festival in Cavendish Square, London), where you may have limited construction times, it is important for us to know how much daylight we have available for our construction teams and when the lighting and electrics need to be installed.
